I don't leave when playing anything but monk in RA. Basically, if I'm not playing a monk, and I think the group is gonna suck, I blazingly charge in and die and we usually lose and I move on.
If I'm monking there is a real problem in RA. I WILL NOT stay and heal 3 incredibly idiotic people that couldn't kill a single boon prot premade given a lifetime. You know the people I'm talking about... MMs, wammos, rangers using power shot. That and literally 75% of the custom builds the average retard (I still can't believe the stupidity of RA newbs) uses. Oh and if you get another monk, a good monk in 4v4 doesn't need another monk, its just a waste of space.

I'll go with Skuld. I've played a warrior a few times in RA and whenever I come across a crippling anguish mesmer (way before factions or the new prebuilds), I just ragequit. There was no point in playing if you're strolling towards someone who's sprinting away and degening you to death.

Allmost allways 1.. I dont go RA to leave.. Only time i leave, is if im the only 1 alive with a dead rez sig, and the other team is using cheap builds -.- (Touchers, anti melee when i play melee, Spirit camping Ritual lords, Assassins (no way im gonna get killed by a Ra Assassin) other stuff that i find cheap).. So mainly 1, and 3 if it looks hopeless, then i Run a little around, being annoying, then quit so they dont kill me >_>

When I Map Out of an RA Match
- When someone else leaves first at time of zoning.
- When a player is AFK.
- When I know that it is a lost cause*:
3b. I'm dead w/ no more rez signet, and there's only one teammate left vs four opponents.
3c. I'm the only player left alive vs three or four opponents (unless there's a priest that will rez everyone shortly)
*No.3 is only applicable when I'm in "gain-faction mode" and I try to get as many matches/kills as I can in a short amount of time. Ergo, I wouldn't waste my time being a corpse for too long.

I don't leave... period.
I think the funniest moment was in the fire island arena, I was running a water ele and 3 members dropped as soon as they saw we were all ele's.
I stayed... got the opposing team to just sit down and we chatted for 2minutes. (yes I died once for their win )
Anyway it was very funny stuff at the time.

To the bitter end. I don't leave ever. Neverever. <.<
I've disconnected out of a few matches, as my internet connection is volatile, but beyond that...
Actually, I once spent an hour and forty or so minutes in a Shiverpeak Arena match. Just wouldn't end; the ranger was running, laying traps, and the warrior (on our team) was too smart to walk into them. So it just went on. And on.
R: -tries to lay trap-
W: -rush- -hackslashhackhack-
R: -run- -successfully lays trap-
W: -stops-
R: -Troll Unguent- -tries to lay trap-
W: -hackslashhackhackhack-
R: -run- -successfully lays trap-
.....and so on. I got to know my dead allies pretty well as we watched. ^__^ (And it paid off. The ranger got himself cornered. Dead ranger. x_x )
Leavers ftl. >.>

If I'm in HA, monking for a PUG, then I'll call out, "IF ANYONE TRIPS THE TIMER, I'M DROPPING."
The only exception I make is if a group is relatively organized, but someone lags.
Oftentimes, people trip the timer anyway, and I go back to HA looking for another PUG, leaving 7 other people completely unhappy. Cruel, you say? Yes. Very cruel. And yes, cruelty may hurt, but it's too bad stupidity doesn't; if stupidity actually caused physical pain, maybe there'd be fewer morons running around wasting my time.
I wish my Guild did HA more often >.<

1 - I don't leave until the match is officially over. To the bitter end!
I never leave a match, even if the others decide do.
many times its been my lil ole Mesmer against 4 others in one of those kill count matches haha.
Once in a while when that happens the other team might join in on the fun and start some one on ones but yeah. Its all fun :P
I hate people people leave after their first death in a match...

I leave as soon as I see a losing group or a group that has no monks. Heck I even leave before the countdown timer starts.

I've seen far more warriors resort to abuse when advised otherwised - I tried communication - it resulted in abusive communication - now I just leave. I play a monk, a precious resource for them so their loss.
EDIT: I leave when I think the team has little chance of making it to ten wins. This can be within the first 10s, or when the team is near wiped.

Number 2, 3, and possibly 9 if it seems we're screwed. Sometimes 10 but I might hang out for the puny amount of faction.

I really don't see why people would do anything exept 1, 2, and ocassionally 4 (very rarely). Its called RANDOM arenas for a reason. Its meant to give you wierd team builds to see if they work or not. If you get a team with full eles or warriors or any class, or there is a wammo using mending, or anything else that might seem like your team is doomed, you shouldn't leave. Who knows, that might just happen to be one of the builds that will be accepted in Hall of Heros because your team gets so many victories in random and team arenas. If you leave just because it seems hopless, then you
1. annoy everyone there with the fact that you should have just gone to team arena (because you want to have certian things in your group despite the fact that it is random) and
2. you just wasted a player's spot that could have been used by someone that accepts that THE TEAMS ARE RANDOM.
It is just so anoying seeing people doing doing anything but 1, 2, and ocassionally 4.
BTW, to the OP, you forgot
12. I'll leave as soon as I see a class on my team that I don't like.
13. I'll leave if there is no ranger or warrior (and during the event, dervish) being a physical attacker on my team.
14. I'll leave if 3 or more people on my team have the same primary class.
I've only been doing pvp for 3 or 4 days now and I have already seen people do those.
